To raise awareness of its importance in society, the Madinah Autism Society (Tamkeen), in cooperation with the Human Rights Commission, organized a two-day awareness event on the occasion of International Human Rights Day. The event was held at the Tamkeen Theater, with the attendance of families of the center’s beneficiaries.

The event was accompanied by an educational workshop and an exhibition, with the participation of several regional entities, aimed at enhancing communication through legal, family, and psychological consultations provided by specialists.

The educational workshop was presented by family counselor Dr. Fahd bin Hamed Al-Hazmi, who spoke about empowering children with disabilities with the help of their families, improving their quality of life, and involving them in various events to integrate them into society.
